FIRST DOWN FRIDAY: Final week of the regular season, chaos ensues

The week 9 edition of WDAY's First Down Friday answers a lot of questions. Who's in, who's out, who gets the top seed, and who's still unbeaten? Those answers in the highlights below. SPUDS ROLL IN STATE TITLE REMATCH MOORHEAD - The Spuds were determined on senior night to get revenge over Edina and they did just that, beating the Hornets 42-21. Jett Feeney was his usual self, tossing six touchdown passes, with two to David Mack and two to Zak Walker. The Moorhead defense pitched in some timely plays and the Spuds enter the state tournament a perfect 8-0. KINDRED WINS IN CLOSE BATTLE, TAKES EDC'S TOP SEED IN 2A CASSELTON - For the first time all season, Kindred was taken to the wire, but they had just enough in the end to handle Central Cass 14-10. Kindred opened the scoring on a Myles Thielges touchdown run, but that's all the scoring their offense would do. Central Cass took the lead after a field goal and a Blaise Cotton touchdown reception.
